A decade-long romance in the making. That’s Nash and Jenna’s story. They met back in college through a mutual friend, but since they lived in different states, Jenna saw no future for the two of them. Thankfully, Nash just kept on asking. Eventually Jenna came around and the rest is history.
Nash came up with grand plans to propose on a hike, but the diamond he had already paid for was somehow given to someone else (what??). Undeterred by the delay, Nash came up with a new plan (with ring finally in hand). Jenna was given a bouquet of flower at work, and told to go home early and follow instructions.
At home, a note instructed her to dress up. The search for Nash began! She was sent to Union Station, which was special to them. Her best friend was waiting to continue the journey with her. They went to Red Rocks next, another special location for the duo, but accidentally took the wrong trail.
Thankfully, a kindhearted mountain biker noticed the ladies hiking in high heels and directed them to a trail of rose petals. Those petals led to Nash, who finally got to pop the question. Jenna still isn’t sure if she actually said “yes,” but since a wedding date is in the books, I think it’s official. 🙂
Since the two love outdoor adventures, from skiing to camping, Lost Gulch Overlook was the perfect location for their engagement session. Being up before dawn in late October and perching on a windswept cliff is no joke, but Nash and Jenna were totally unfazed. We were gifted with the loveliest pink sunrise and warm sun later on.
Nash and Jenna, thank you for braving the elements to create these images with me. What a beautiful love story you have — and it’s just beginning! I’m already excited for your wedding next fall, and I hope that these photographs bring smiles to your faces for many, many years to come.
