Intimate Sapphire Point Wedding | Brian + Caitlyn

Three things I love: mountain vistas, relaxed couples, and sweet details. Brian and Caitlyn’s intimate wedding at Sapphire Point Overlook in Dillon, Colorado had them all!

Sapphire Point overlooks a wide lake, mountain vistas, and in early October? The most stunning yellow aspens. Post ceremony we drove down to the lake to take a few photos that you just HAVE to see (hello magical lighting).

Brian and Caitlyn have been together for over five years and live in West Virginia though they were both born in raised in Florida. They fell in love with Colorado on skiing adventures, and knew it was the right place to say “I do.” They both have mellow yet adventurous spirits and a bit of a rock’n’roll edge.

Despite this, they’re still southern at heart, so they had to incorporate a few traditional elements. Brian made sure that the first time he saw was Caitlyn that day was when she walked down the aisle. Worth the wait, for sure. And get this: they started dating on the 4th, got engaged on the 4th, and got married on the 4th, too! (Talk about sweet details).

Their first dance was right after the ceremony in the golden natural light, amidst the most magical bubbles. I think this should be a new requirement for all first dances. Seriously.
