Glamorous Manor House Wedding | Rick + Candace

A few weeks ago, Justin and I jumped in the car and drove all of twenty minutes to photograph Rick and Candace’s wedding at The Manor House. Moving to the foothills has certainly had its perks! 🙂 You may remember from Rick and Candace’s Flagstaff Mountain engagement session that they met and fell in love while attending their alma mater, West Virginia University. While hiking up to the overlooks in Boulder they reminisced about how similarly steep and hilly their gorgeous campus was in West Virginia!

The Manor House certainly did its best to compete. Not only is it a gorgeous, historic 1900s mansion. Also it’s surrounded by wide mountain views and the perfect ceremony view of Denver. And all of that was only enhanced by Candace’s selections: a glamorous gown, jewel-toned bridesmaids’ dresses and flowers, and dramatic reception uplighting.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. If people who laugh together, stay together, then Rick and Candace will be together for the rest of time. From their engagement session to their ceremony, Rick and Candace can’t help but burst into laughter when they look into each other’s eyes. That is something special. And their love? Even more so.

Rick and Candace, thank you for choosing me and Justin to capture your wedding day. We’ve loved getting to know you and the lovely people you are. We hope you’re enjoying these first weeks of marriage. And most of all, we pray that these images bring smiles to your faces for many years to come!
